"It's hard to see how the Edge would ever become obsolete — you're likely to go through a few TVs or projectors before you hit the limits of what it can do."

Testimonials
"I have been waiting for a video processor such as the EDGE for a long time! The feature set, system flexibility and outstanding video performance all for the price is unbeatable. And it also looks great! The improvement in picture quality is well worth the price. Thank you DVDO!"

"As a long time user of DVDO VP series video processors I came to the realization that I did not require many of the advanced features and had begun investigating the use of AVRs with internal video processing. I found capability was marginal at best.
The EDGE has eliminated that as an option. The EDGE has all the capability I require plus some and at the price point is unbeatable. To me the best route is to let an AVR process audio and a video processor process video."

"With the advent of more and more HDMI devices all vying for those precious HDMI inputs on my displays, the DVDO EDGE was a revelation to my system.
EDGE is now my essential central hub to my AV system where everything is fed into the one central unit, and then distributed accordingly to my audio and visual equipment, thus making things so much easier.
Picture processing results are highly impressive, with many of my most difficult sources and viewing material being handled with aplomb. Although EDGE will allow you to just plug it in, and let the automatic settings do the hard work for you, the advanced controls and test patterns were fantastic for serial tweakers such as myself to really get the best performance possible.
Thanks to DVDO, my system really has the 'EDGE' now that was lacking before - something that was previously unheard of at this price!"

"Already an owner from the VP line of DVDO video processor products I was especially pleased to see much of the functionality of the much more expensive processors included in the Edge. With added features such as more HDMI inputs and a separate HDMI audio only output the Edge is attractive even for more elaborate home theater systems."

"The Edge is a complete Video and Audio nucleus that will vastly improve any high end as well as any modest set up. I have used VPs that cost over three times as much but at the end of the day I am using the Edge!"

"Last year, I purchased a new A/V receiver with an integrated video processor chip. At the time, I believed that this purchase saved me from investing in a dedicated video processor for my home theater. Since adding the EDGE into my setup, my only regret has been not adding a video processor sooner.
The EDGE was easy to set-up using the intuitive Setup Wizard. This feature should have novices up and running quickly while the advance options menu allows extensive picture control and calibration for more advanced users.
Finally, the control of image aspect ratio is the feature my theater needed as I use a constant image height system with removable anamorphic lens."

"This is my first video processor. I use it for three major functions. The first is that it is a fast HDMI switch that allows me to connect 5 video components to my projector. I was limited to two HDMI inputs on my A/V receiver before I purchased the Edge. Secondly, it reduced the video noise on my cable tv, improved the upconversion on my dvd players, and converted the mix of HDMI, coax, and optical audio inputs into a single audio HDMI output to my A/V receiver. And finally it reduced the need for separate remotes for all my components into one easy to program, back lit remote that fits comfortably in my hand."
G.H. Reston, VA
"I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a beta unit of DVDO Edge and after receiving it, I was amazed by the ease of setup/use and the hugely improved picture quality it brought to my daily used home theater.
DVDO Edge is now the most important component of my setup and it will be a keeper for many years.
I am still amazed by the low price too, way to go DVDO!"
M. Raitio, Kirjala, Finland
"With EDGE, I not only got processing power that is on-par with the best of what is available, but I also got extensive HDMI switching and output capabilities. As a result, not only was EDGE a good addition to my equipment rack at a hard-to-beat price, but it also helped delay my having to upgrade my existing receiver to handle the latest HDMI specifications. A great value all-around."
