The DVDO® iScanT HD Receives the Electronic House
2004 Product of the Year Award at CEDIA EXPO 2004

Indianapolis, IN, September 10, 2004 - Anchor Bay Technologies, Inc. announced today that the DVDO® iScanT HD High Resolution Video Scaling Engine has been chosen as one of the Electronic House Products of the Year for 2004.

The iScan HD is a video scaling processor and A/V switcher that produces display-optimized video at a wide range of output resolutions, aspect ratios, and refresh rates, independent of input format. The product accepts as input all standard NTSC and PAL video formats, as well as ATSC-standard DTV 480p, 720p, and 1080i high-definition video. This makes it suitable for use with all video products worldwide, including DVD players, VCRs, digital video recorders, laserdisc players, and other audio/video sources.

Electronic House editors submit their favorite products for a group vote. Winners are selected based on reviews, product demos, and comments from installers and users. Technological innovation combined with overall value and outstanding features top the list of criteria for the products.
