Laurence Thompson
Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Laurence Thompson is a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer for Anchor Bay. In this role, he guides and develops the company's high performance and low cost image processing technology. Mr. Thompson has over two decades of experience in engineering, product development, and digital signal processing, and has a history of success as a technology entrepreneur. In 1997, Mr. Thompson co-founded DVDO, Inc., where he served as President and Chief Technology Officer. DVDO's model of a combined system and semiconductor business was the prototype for Anchor Bay. DVDO was acquired by Silicon Image in 2000. Prior to co-founding DVDO, Mr. Thompson was with Apple Computer where he worked as a design engineer and architect for desktop computers for thirteen years. Mr. Thompson is listed as inventor or co-inventor on fifteen U. S. Patents.

Mr. Laurence Thompson holds a B.S. Degree in Electronic Engineering from Cal-Poly, San Luis Obispo, California.
